This Privacy Policy describes how Partymancer ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use partymancer.com (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

Content you submit. Character descriptions you enter are processed to generate your miniature, and the resulting character data is stored so that links to it continue to work.
Usage data. Standard server logs, including IP address, browser type, and pages requested, used for security, rate limiting, and diagnostics.
Account information. If you create an account: username, email address, and a hashed password.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information above solely to provide, maintain, and protect the Service. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Cookies

The Service uses only functional cookies: a session cookie for signed-in users and a security (CSRF) cookie. We do not use advertising or third-party analytics cookies.

4. Service Providers

We share data with third parties only as needed to operate the Service: character descriptions are processed by our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate results, and our infrastructure providers process data incidentally to hosting the Service. These providers act on our behalf under their own commercial terms.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain data only as long as needed for the purposes above. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us from the email address on the account.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and hashed password storage. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version and its effective date are always posted on this page.
